East Midlands Regional Plan Secretary of State's Proposed Changes July 2008

How to View the Proposed Changes to the Regional Plan

To view the proposed wording of the revised Regional Plan, you must first select the relevant section on the left-hand side.  From there you will be able to see all the paragraphs and policies listed under that section that are available for comment.

Please note: If you are using Internet Explorer, it may be necessary to scroll down the page in order to view the text in some sections of the Plan, which will appear below the contents list on the left hand side.

How to Add a Comment

To comment on a section of the text, left click on the ‘Add Comments’ tab for that particular paragraph or policy and fill in the form appropriately, being certain to state whether you agree or disagree with the proposed change.

PLEASE NOTE: When submitting a comment, please ensure that you select the ‘Add Comments’ tab just above the wording you wish to comment on, otherwise your submission will be tied to the wrong body of text.

If you would like to view what others have commented on, click on 'Who Said What?' in the top right corner of this page. This allows you to search for comments made by specific Consultees and Agents as well as allowing you to view a list of all comments made to date.

Please note: if you wish to submit a response to paragraphs 3.3.43A  - 3.3.43D, these will need to be submitted under the comment box linked to Policy 35A 'Regional Priorities for Air Quality'.

If you are Acting as an Agent:

If you have signed up to this site as an agent you will be unable to add a comment until you have added a Consultee onto your account. In order to do this, left click on the ‘Consultee’ tab on the left side of this screen.  From here you will be able to add a profile for the person you will be representing by left clicking on the ‘Add Consultee’ tab. Once you have done this, be sure to select them on the Consultee page by clicking the grey circle to the right of their name. You can now add a comment on their behalf.
